I Dream of Venice - Charly Byram at Mirko's Restaurant in Watkinsville, Ga.

I dream of Venice.
Charly Byram is a Senior Anthropology and French major at UGA and a graduate of Oconee High School. She spent her Spring semester abroad in France, and while there, made several whirlwind tours to different parts of Europe. Her trip to Venice was quick and she described it as a 24 hour dream of hidden bridges, labyrinthine narrow streets, and broad, watery boulevards, unlike anything she has ever seen. > > These images are her vision. Part reality....part dream.

This display is part of American Craft Week and is on display at Mirko's in Watkinsville, GA

White Tractor Pictures at Don Byram Art

White tractors were formed in 1960 and was acquired and absorbed by many brands until it's end in 2001. You don't see many of them in this part of the country. This one is owned by Steve Nedza in Oconee County. I'm guessing, but I think this one is from the mid 70's. It's original color was silver. Now it is Red Georgia Clay:) The blue 5 gallon bucket of hydro oil is an optional feature......

Don Byram Photographys

G. Barn Sr purchased this land on the steps of the courthouse when the bank foreclosed on it in the late 1930's. He worked the land until Sr. turned the farm over to G. Barn Jr in the early 70's. Jr worked the land until he retired 10 years ago. G Barn III? He left the farm and preaches on Sundays and Wednesday nights at a Baptist Church up in the hills of North Georgia. While Sr and Jr are disappointed that III didn't till the soil like they did, they understand he is still tilling on Sundays and Wednesday nights. (Every picture tells a story:) )
