Don Byram Art Framing

Here are some of some of our recent frame and print jobs.....and more importantly, the stories that go with them!!
What do you get a WWII P-51 pilot as a gift? How about a memory of one the finest planes in the history of the military. Tim Wright supplied the perfect memory and we supplied the perfect frame.
Lisa Wheeler needed a statement piece for an art show she was accepted in. How about this??!! She supplied the image file and we supplied the giclee canvas printing and gallery wrapped it for her.
Kay Johnson and her daughter Kris Doyle teamed up on this one. Kay supplied the fabulous antique frame, Kris supplied the picture file and we supplied the giclee canvas printing and pulled it all together for them.
Ellen Ketchum's Grandmother wrote, illustrated and printed her own book of poetry and art in 1933. Ellen took it to the next level and she can now enjoy her Grandmother's work daily with these shadow boxes of original pages and wood printing blocks. And, just so you know, Ellen still has several copies she keeps handy so she can thumb through them when she thinks of her Grandmother.

Woodworks - John Weber Photography

John Weber is a fabulous local artist that is quietly hiding in the plain view of us all.

I could yammer for several paragraphs about him and what he does and how he does it and his qualifications and how meticulous he is and what a gentle and humble soul he is and yada, yada, yada. But...at the end of the day....it's about the art. If you like rustic or coastal art, take a look at his work. If you see anything you like, you can click on the picture and it will take you to the website and you can see the dimensions and prices. They are several different ones at pics4everyone.com.

Just for Two
This is one of my personal favorites of John's. It was taken on Jekyll Island. I love the symmetrical organization and calmness of the picture. It is mounted on antique barn wood from western North Carolina.
Gulls II
Gulls II
The photography is from the Outer Banks in North Carolina. The driftwood is from Apalachicola, Florida. The Gulls? They are from every visit you have ever made to a beach. Quick....hide the potato chips!!
Open and Shut
Possibly, John's best known image. The rustic image is of a window of Lumpkin Academy, located in Oglethorpe County. The barn wood comes from western North Carolina.
Shrimp Catcher
This one is worth clicking on several times to make larger so you can see the real barnacle that is the eye of the Shrimp! Doesn't the piece of driftwood look like a shrimp?!
Still Waters
Another well known John Weber image that has graced the cover of art show handouts and has been displayed many times. Now it is available and mounted on driftwood from Florida.
Oops....I had several emails from the last newsletter I sent out. Inadvertently, in a pre-caffeinated condition early one morning, I somehow managed to delete them. If you had a comment or question I still need to know about, please send it to me again. This time I promise to have coffee first.

Thanks for playing nicely!

DBA is on Facebook. Please go to our new website www.pics4everyone and "Like" us!! We want to highlight what wonderful art, memories, and crazy things people get framed and we think this is the best way to do it! Besides the people and frame jobs, you might even discover a "Lucky" coupon from time to time!

Lucky Update #2

In partnership with Visions and Vino, we are offering a totally FREE Art Class on March 26th! The timely subject matter for this class is "Sand Dunes", taught by the lucky Irish woman, Belinda Harris!! Check out their website or come by the store for class schedules and available of Art Parties.

Lucky Update #3

We just finished up with a fabulous (and lucky) Fine Arts Night at Commerce Middle School. We were able to both highlight some of our young artists in Commerce and raise a little money for the Art Program at the Middle School! Below are pictured two people who look very Irish standing among beautiful student artwork...Principal Chuck Bell and Art Teacher Deanna Neal.

Lucky Update #4

We finally have our current inventory of DBA exclusive artwork online. Luckily, it hasn't taken any more than 3 years to get it there!!! Check it out www.pics4everyone.

Just plain lucky...
