Simple and straight to the point today......

You are cordially invited to the opening reception of The Athens Photography Guild Juried Photography Show this Saturday, May 9th at 11am at DonByramArt. We have 32 accepted pieces from the wonderful and eclectic group of photographers making up the APG. The Athens Photography Guild meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Lyndon House in Athens. If you are a newbie photographer with your first point and shoot, or a seasoned veteran with thicker lenses than George Burns, you are invited to join in as we share images, learn a little technical stuff, and most importantly, share your passion for creating.

It is in this spirit DonByramArt is very pleased to be a member and partner with The Athens Photography Guild. We are proud to present the Juried Show which visualizes the emotions, spirits, moods, movement, colors of the world we live in. There will be light refreshments, provided by The Burns-Teleford House of Maysville and more creative people in one spot than should be allowed by law! The exhibit will be displayed though June 6. Please join us!

Our other big event for the month of May is the YART SALE to benefit The Boys & Girls Club of Jackson County. It will be held over the Memorial Day weekend of May 23rd and 24th. We are asking all of our DBA'ers and the community to bring in all your art you are no longer using as a tax deductible donation to The Boys & Girls Club of Jackson County. This is a great opportunity and excuse to redecorate and recycle your artwork, all for reasons you can feel good about! So, join us on May 23rd and 24th for the YART SALE and between now and then.....dig out all the art that has collected in all the odd corners of your house and life and bring it to us!!
